Good evening, I’m using proxmox 5 pvetest repos (current official, not your patched deb) and so far 10.12.3 works, I made a UEFI boot install image (using linux), installed, did the gpu passthrough and everything works just fine (except hdmi sound but already found how to fix it). Thing is that I downloaded the 10.12.6 installer from store and prepared a bootable uefi installer as before, then I get the apple logo and progressbar, then a full gray background screen with mouse, and then after a couple seconds I get the beach ball of doom (within the gray background, feels like language chooser but noghint else appears). any thoughts on how to fix it? my host cpu is haswell i5 4460 and 10.12.3 works like a charm. Meanwhile I will try to update from 10.12.3 in the app store instead of a clean 10.12.6 install to see if it boots.Īny thoughts on what could be wrong or how to troubleshoot it? 6GB ram is assigned to the kvm so I don’t think it’s a memory problem. Pve-manager: 5.0-23 (running version: 5.The current version of the tool works by loading a kernel extension into Mac OS X on boot that forces the clock speeds upwards immediately after the system starts. ZDNet Clock doesn't load a kext at boot time. Checkout my website, there is a picture of my setup on there. It is dynamically loaded, when you start ZDNet Clock. I have timed it before and I can have music playing from my backup iPod within 2 minutes and be fully connected and outputting Video in 8 minutes!!! Hope this info is useful for you. ![]() ![]() When arriving at my residency I have 3 mains plugs (Mac, MC6000 & USB), a pair of phonos and my Video cable coming out of the case to connect up. I have been using a flightcase with a sliding shelf for the last 2 years with my MC6000 and laptop permanently stored and pre-wired in it. The Mac has only 2 USB sockets anyway taken up by my external Hard Drive and my Denon MC6000. Therefore, I do not need to draw power from the laptop. From this I power the cooling plate, then, I have my PCtoTV Convertor box and my iPod backup plugged into the cooling plate. I use a mains plug with USB power output. ![]() Also the cooling plate I use has 3 USB 1.1 sockets. ![]() I play Videos 100% of the time and this generates a lot more heat than just playing mp3s. One of my residencies is a hot Club with no aircon and after 3 1/2 hours the laptop response would start to get sluggish without the cooling plate. Probably one of the most essential bits of equipment, especially in hot environments. I have my Macbook Pro 15" sitting on a cooling plate with fans blowing on the underneath of the laptop.
